This post is written by Robbie Vogel, a writer/editor with Vistaprint. Robbie has worked for microbusinesses in both PR and advertising.

Whether you’re starting a new diet or trying to get ahead in the business world, motivation is key. In the short clip, Deanna reveals that she purposely keeps her voicemail inbox full so that callers are not able to leave her a message and actually instructs them to contact her by text or email if they would like to be reached more quickly. Although she admits to having missed some important messages in the past from this, she still declares she is completely “anti-voicemail.”

In today’s world, we are increasingly attached to our technological devices; we can’t imagine a day without our smartphones and wouldn’t dream of traveling without a tablet to read the latest James Patterson thriller.
